Men’s Activities

MidAtlanticMen are engaged in active outreach to churches, clusters/districts, Presbyteries and to the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic. Wherever men seek to grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ our men can be found providing leadership, guidance, resources, fellowship and service. Each year our men sponsor an Annual Synod Men’s Conference at Massanetta Springs, Virginia, a weekend retreat of spiritual renewal, fellowship and leadership development.

Supporting Your Church’s Men’s Group

Our Area Representatives provide assistance to churches which have an interest in initiating or strengthening men’s ministry through visitations and consultations, planning support for rallies, retreats, men’s nights and other special events which will help to develop and unleash the potential and vitality of a strong men’s ministry. Men’s mission projects are also strongly encouraged and supported.

Presbyterian Men work in harmony with Pastors and existing church programs, in the belief that men’s ministry complements and enhances but does not compete or conflict with, existing church programs.

Chartering of a Church Men’s Group

In order to fully support and participate in the activities and resources of Presbyterian Men each church is strongly encouraged to become a chartered member of the National Council of Presbyterian Men. Annual renewals help maintain your church’s active participation. For more information on chartering, go to the National Council of Presbyterian Men web site.
